Classroom Observations

We have created an observation tool for quickly measuring the teacher’s level of cultural responsiveness. Typically done by one of our experts, we conduct 15-20 minutes observations to catch a snapshot of what is going on in the classroom as it pertains to culturally responsive teaching.

What follows is a sample of the survey. Think about your classroom and complete the survey. How did you do? Are you in need of culturally responsive teaching and learning? We have similar measure for the school as a whole as well.
